Emilie joined DSK in 2013 after a successful partnership on a residential project in Chestnut Hill. Well versed in both design and decoration, Emilie works closely with clients to help navigate the challenges of the design and construction process while ensuring the finished product best reflects their tastes and style.
She received her Master in Arts in Interior Design from New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University. After graduation, she joined the team of Manuel de Santaren and worked on a variety of residential projects throughout New England, both traditional and contemporary. In 2010, she started her own firm focusing on a wide range of jobs; from the design of a single room to renovations of entire houses and new construction. She has also contributed her expertise to a number of Boston based hospitality projects. Emilie believes that close collaboration with the client, contractor, and architect – one of her favorite aspects of the job – is a critical component for all successful interior design projects.
She has lived in Asia and Europe and still loves traveling and the inspirations and ideas that come from visiting new locations. She lives in Newton with her family and enjoys summer weekends in Rhode Island.
