Renée joined the DSK team on Halloween of 2016. Passionate about design and detail oriented, she loves to coordinate the component parts of the big design picture.
Renée received her Master Degree in Interior Architecture from the Boston Architectural College, where she focused on universal design strategies in K-12 design. Her research and applied design were geared toward improving the interior environment for all users through designing to meet the needs of those disenfranchised by typical design. While still in graduate school, Renée worked full-time as an interior designer for Rojas Design, Inc., where she gained experience in a broad variety of project types including work with the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Renée uses evidence-based design principles to inform her work, as well as a keen eye for aesthetics, developed in her undergraduate career in Fine Art. She shares her passion for design and learning through teaching a thesis research course to graduate students at her alma mater, the Boston Architectural College.
