Sara is a Senior Interior Designer at DSK. Her focus, as she designs interior spaces, is to uncover the opportunities, in projects of every scale, to create compelling moments. Paired with her experience in large scale projects, Sara’s natural practicality and problem-solving skills, create a great foundation for exploration of both cutting edge design concepts as well as tried and true details and elements.
Sara holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Interior Architecture from the School for the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Northeastern University. Her previous experience as an interior designer includes over 12 years of programming and designing interior spaces in libraries, classrooms, residence halls, and dining facilities for higher education clients, including Duke, Johns Hopkins, Harvard Business School, Smith College, and Marquette. Sara also spent several years focused on workplace design completing 20+ projects for corporate clients in the Greater Boston area.
Sara is always seeking beauty to inspire her; she loves exploring new cities, discovering new and old architecture (and of course the local shops).
