Concord Market
Concord, MA
Concord Market, located within walking distance to the historic Concord Center, opened in the summer of 2018. The design captures many of the aspects of earlier structures that once occupied the site and will serve a dense residential and commercial neighborhood in downtown Concord’s historic district. The building’s simple barn like form, surrounded by covered porches, is reminiscent of the farmer’s markets often found in local New England villages. The various building components, such as windows, envelope, roof structure and mechanical systems were selected with a focus on energy conservation and sustainability.
