This project involved the thoughtful integration of contemporary and traditional aesthetics. The structure has many uses including a 3-bay garage, a mudroom, a stairway and an owner/photographer’s studio. The large exterior glass wall was inserted where a non-operational-faux barn door once resided. This project also included the transformation of an adjacent space by adding collar ties, hanger rods and built-in cabinetry to diminish its monumental scale.
